Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Experience in teaching, training, public speaking or performing
Industry certifications based on specialty. For this particular Technical Instructor position, we are looking for someone who is certified to teach A+ and Net+ courses
Additional certifications are helpful
Ability to work evenings if required
Willingness and ability to travel to other New Horizons centers if needed
Associate degree or equivalent, or higher
Candidates who have taught CompTIA A+ and Net+ both in a classroom and online will be given preference

The overall responsibility of the Technical Instructor at New Horizons is to provide quality training on a wide variety of online and traditional instructor-led software and networking classes, including CompTIA A+ and Net+
Provide innovative, practical, and dynamic computer training solutions that save time, increase productivity and improve the way in which people accomplish tasks.
Assist students with preparing to take their CompTIA A+ and Net+ certification exams.
