Job Description

Job Summary: 

This role involves interacting directly with schools and Healthcare Facilities management, assessing technical needs, and implementing solutions to improve the overall well-being of the Schools and Healthcare facilities. The Community Technician will work collaboratively with WASH Engineer, Behavioral Change and Communication Officer & relevant stakeholders to improve the WASH condition at Schools and Healthcare Facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake technical, administrative and monitoring role to provide Technical Support to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Services in Health Care Facilities & Schools.
  • Manage and implement data entry, edit and review process for WASH activities.
  • Provide various hardware/software solutions to issues related to WASH activities.
  • Arrange logistics and needed materials for the construction site.
  • Act as the main point of communication between the site and the office and report line manager regarding the project progress.
  • Possess skill to provide leadership to on-site staff, and other parties.
  • Establish coordination and update the timely progress of WASH activities to meet the deadline of the project.
  • Provide technical advice and solve any problems on site, when arises, in close consultant with the line manager.
  • Manage the work schedules and time cards for the field staffs.
  • Provide technical input in coordination with the WASH Engineer as required.
  • Manage to resolve any unforeseen technical difficulties and other problems that may arise in the process of the work in consultation with the line manager.
