Roles and responsibilities of this job

The civil engineer/project manager is responsible for the overall delivery and management of projects. The project manager creates and manage systems for tracking projects, collect data and analyze results, forecast profit and works closely with field personnel, designers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to manage various programmatic and project processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deal with the clients for various aspects of the project
Determine needed resources (Manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish of the project
Adequate acknowledge of survey works and survey equipment
Supervise the works of labours, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
Review and interpret bid proposal, specifications, and drawings
Reads and interprets plans and specifications proposed work to understand the scope of work and contractual obligations
Actively participates in the design and execution of project safety and quality control activities
Assumes responsibility for project staffing and budgetary controls.
Oversees project closeout and claim resolution
Proficient in estimating, scheduling, budgeting cost, field supervision, financial reporting and client relationships

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 4 years

Other Specification

Should have minimum 5+ years of experience in Road and Infrastructure project
Should have proficiency in latest software to execute the work and practical knowledge
Have outstanding good interpersonal and communicational skills.
Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project Management, and other basic computer-related skills
Applicants with creative knowledge and vision shall be preferred
Ability to read blueprints
Excellent organizational skills
Experience working in a team
Strong attention to detail
Should be able to travel for work
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
Should be self-driven and motivated
Willingness to relocate as needed
Negotiation skills
