Roles and responsibilities of this job

A Real Estate Technical Coordinator oversees the entire lifecycle of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality/compliance standards. Key duties include managing feasibility studies, coordinating designers and contractors, securing permits, and overseeing construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Feasibility: Conducting market analysis, site selection, developing budgets, and creating schedules.
Design & Permitting: Coordinating architects, engineers, and consultants to develop plans that meet zoning laws and project goals.
Construction Oversight: Managing contractors, monitoring construction progress on-site, and ensuring quality control.
Budget & Finance: Meticulously tracking project costs, managing change orders, and securing financing.
Stakeholder Management: Serving as the main point of contact for investors, tenants, and government officials.
Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to minimize disruptions.
Prepare BOQs and rate analysis

Typical Daily Activities

Reviewing project budgets and construction updates.
Communicating with consultants and contractors to address challenges.
Updating project plans and documenting meeting minutes.
Conducting site visits to monitor progress.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, construction management, engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in real estate development, construction, or project management.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, construction techniques, and finance (pro formas).
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and project scheduling software.
Communication: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
