As the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of B&C Medical College and Teaching Hospital, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the institution. This includes financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, investment management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the institution's short-term and long-term goals.
• Collaborate with other members of the executive team to align financial planning with organizational objectives.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Present financial information to the Board of Directors and provide insights to support decision-making.

Investment Management:

• Manage the institution's investment portfolio, ensuring optimal returns while minimizing risk.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations to the executive team and the Board of Directors.

Cash Flow Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs and capital expenditures.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital management.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, such as currency exchange risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk.

Financial Systems and Controls:

• Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• CA Qualified with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a leading position of a large-scale organization, Or MBA in Finance with a minimum of 7 years of working experience in a leading position of a large-scale organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
