Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the establishment and operations of a newborn Child and Maternity Hospital (25–50 beds). The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, financial sustainability, and quality healthcare delivery of the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in hospital administration, maternal and child healthcare services, and healthcare operations, with the ability to build a high-performing medical and administrative team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Lead the planning, establishment, and operationalization of the maternity hospital.
Develop and implement the hospital’s strategic, operational, and growth plans.
Work closely with the Board/Owners to achieve organizational goals and healthcare impact.

Operational Management

Oversee day-to-day hospital operations including clinical, administrative, and support services.
Ensure efficient patient care delivery, service quality, and operational excellence.
Implement systems for hospital workflow, patient management, and service improvement.

Clinical Governance & Quality

Ensure high standards of maternal, neonatal, and pediatric care.
Establish clinical governance, patient safety, and quality assurance systems.
Monitor healthcare outcomes and maintain high clinical standards.

Financial Management

Develop and manage hospital budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
Ensure financial sustainability through effective revenue and cost management.
Identify opportunities for partnerships, service expansion, and healthcare programs.

Human Resource Leadership

Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development.
Foster a positive, ethical, and patient-centered organizational culture.

Compliance and Stakeholder Management

Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, licensing, and accreditation standards.
Liaise with government authorities, healthcare partners, and regulatory bodies.
Represent the hospital in professional, community, and institutional engagements.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 8 years

Other Specification

Education:

Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
Medical background (MBBS) with management experience will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in hospital or healthcare management.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Experience in maternity, pediatric, or multispecialty hospital operations is preferred.
Experience in hospital setup or expansion projects will be highly advantageous.
