Job Description

The Executive Search Unit of merojob, on behalf of its client, is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a prestigious national-level hospital and medical institute. The CEO will be entrusted with providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of world-class healthcare services. This role requires a dynamic leader who can strengthen clinical excellence, drive innovation, ensure financial sustainability, and foster a culture of patient-centered care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the hospital’s strategic plan in alignment with the vision and mission of the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Represent the hospital in public forums, governmental relations, and partnerships.
  • Oversee daily operations across clinical, administrative, and support services to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Implement performance metrics, monitoring systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation and adoption of modern medical technologies.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth.
  • Identify opportunities for new service lines, partnerships, and expansion.
  • Optimize revenue cycle management and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality of care.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ethics, and patient-centered service.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to promote clinical excellence and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medicine, or related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and quality accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex healthcare organizations with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
