The Executive Search Unit of merojob, on behalf of its client, is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a prestigious national-level hospital and medical institute. The CEO will be entrusted with providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of world-class healthcare services. This role requires a dynamic leader who can strengthen clinical excellence, drive innovation, ensure financial sustainability, and foster a culture of patient-centered care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the hospital’s strategic plan in alignment with the vision and mission of the Board of Directors.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.
Represent the hospital in public forums, governmental relations, and partnerships.
Oversee daily operations across clinical, administrative, and support services to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.
Implement performance metrics, monitoring systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive digital transformation and adoption of modern medical technologies.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth.
Identify opportunities for new service lines, partnerships, and expansion.
Optimize revenue cycle management and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality of care.
Champion a culture of safety, ethics, and patient-centered service.
Collaborate with medical staff to promote clinical excellence and evidence-based practices.
Ensure availability of advanced healthcare facilities, infrastructure, and emergency preparedness.
Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture that attracts and retains top healthcare talent.
Lead by example, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous professional development.
Ensure effective succession planning and leadership development across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medicine, or related field (Doctorate preferred).
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
Strong knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and quality accreditation standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex healthcare organizations with multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
