- Provide overall leadership in developing Cooperative’s strategic direction and strategic plans (short, medium and long term) to realize the Cooperative’s vision and objectives.
- Manage the overall operation of the Cooperative to ensure strategic and business plans are effectively implemented within the authority limitations delegated by the Board and Board Level committees, the results are monitored and reported to the Board, and financial and operational objectives are attained
- Ensure effective communications and appropriate relationships are maintained with the stakeholders of the Company (i,e, Promoters, Members, Clients, Board of Directors, Employees, Regulators, Auditors, BFIs and the communities in which the Cooperative operates).
- Manage the business to create sustainable long-term value; and ensuring the identification and communication to the Board of all material risks along with mitigation plans and procedures.
- Conduct of detailed feasibility study for branch/service center expansion.
- Develop annual budget and strategy, annual operating forecasts of lending, deposit, expenditures, operational results and financial performance.
- Effective Fund Management of the Cooperative.
- Preparation of proposals and corresponding documents for submission to Ministries, Departments and Regulators, etc.
- Periodic visit and provide strategic directions to the branches and service centers.
- Ensure the Board meetings, Sub-committee meetings; Annual General Meeting (AGM), etc. are timely and periodically completed.
- Plan and oversee staff recruitment, team building, motivation, retention, training and development plan.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors from time to time
