Roles and responsibilities of this job

We is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial insights across multiple projects. The role requires expertise in managing day-to-day accounting, preparing financial business plans, and handling regulatory requirements including FDI, debt, and paid-up capital compliance. The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor to management, ensuring sound financial decision-making and sustainable business growth.

Reports to: Senior Management / Board of Directors

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and cash flow operations
Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards

Strategic Planning & Business Support

Prepare and present financial business plans and feasibility studies for new/existing projects
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
Provide recommendations to optimize capital structure, funding, and operational efficiency

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

Handle all mandatory compliance requirements including FDI approval, repatriation, debt, paid-up capital, and corporate filings
Ensure tax planning and statutory compliance (Income Tax, VAT, TDS, etc.)
Coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and government agencies as required

Project Finance & Investment Management

Manage financial planning, monitoring, and reporting of different company projects
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and investors for funding and debt management
Track performance metrics and prepare reports for management and stakeholders

Advisory & Risk Management

Provide financial insights for business expansion, restructuring, and investment opportunities
Identify risks and implement effective internal control systems
Support management in long-term financial planning and corporate strategy

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Required Age:More than 22 years

Other Specification

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI, ICAN, or equivalent professional body
Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management (corporate or consulting background preferred)
Strong knowledge of FDI regulations, debt/paid-up compliance, and corporate law in Nepal
Proven ability to prepare financial business plans and project reports
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel/Google Sheets
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
