Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Cargo Courier Sales/Operations Executive will be responsible for developing cargo sales, maintaining relationships with clients and agents, coordinating shipments, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring smooth and timely cargo operations from booking to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and develop new cargo sales opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Handle cargo inquiries, quotations, bookings, and follow-ups with customers.
Coordinate with clients, airlines, freight forwarders, agents, and other stakeholders.
Manage day-to-day cargo operations, including shipment coordination and tracking.
Prepare and verify cargo-related documents and ensure accurate data entry.
Coordinate cargo acceptance, handling, dispatch, and delivery processes.
Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers.
Resolve operational issues, customer queries, and shipment-related concerns promptly.
Follow up on pending shipments, documentation, payments, and other operational requirements.
Maintain proper records of sales, bookings, shipments, and customer interactions.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business development.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable cargo handling and operational procedures.
Prepare regular sales and operational reports for management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
Relevant experience in cargo sales, freight forwarding, logistics, airline cargo, or transportation operations will be preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Good knowledge of cargo booking, shipment documentation, and logistics processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Good organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments/tasks simultaneously.
Target-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required by operational needs.

Note: Candidates must have a 2-wheeler with a valid licence.
