Business Development Manager – Lighting Division

Reporting To: Managing Director / Promoter (Direct Reporting)

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to lead and scale our Lighting Division.

This is a strategic, field-focused role requiring deep engagement with interior designers, electrical consultants, and end customers, along with the capability to sell complete lighting solutions for residential, architectural, and commercial projects.

The role carries clear revenue ownership with a minimum quarterly sales target of NPR 1.5 Crore and the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated lighting team after 24 months of proven performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Achieve and exceed a minimum quarterly sales target of NPR 1.5 Crore for the Lighting Division
• Drive sales across:
  - High-end residential projects
  - Architectural and commercial developments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  - Interior designers
  - Electrical consultants
  - End customers
• Conduct regular field visits to design studios, consultant offices, project sites, and client locations
• Convert specifications, project discussions, and inquiries into confirmed orders

Lighting Solution Selling & Technical Coordination

• Position the company as a reliable lighting solutions provider
• Demonstrate strong understanding of lighting concepts such as:
  - Lux levels, lumens, beam angles, CRI
  - Architectural vs decorative lighting applications
  - Product suitability based on space and functional requirements
• Coordinate lighting layouts, BOQs, and technical clarifications with internal or external teams
• Act as a technical-commercial interface between designers, consultants, and execution teams

Project Ownership & Execution Support

• Own projects from lead generation through order closure
• Coordinate internally to ensure:
  - Accurate and timely quotations
  - Smooth order processing and delivery
  - Proper execution at site level
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

Market Development & Strategic Input

• Strengthen the company’s presence within Nepal’s design and construction ecosystem
• Identify and develop strategic accounts and long-term opportunities
• Provide market feedback on:
  - Competitor activity
  - Pricing trends
  - Product positioning and demand
• Contribute to long-term strategy for expanding the Lighting Division
