Who Are We Looking For?
We seek a talented Business Development Manager with a knack for leadership and creative thinking. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data and the ability to generate marketing ideas and strategies using said data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Management

Lead, mentor, and supervise the e-commerce team members (content creators, customer service representatives, operations staff).
Delegate tasks, set clear objectives, and monitor team performance.
Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

2. E-commerce Strategy and Execution

Assist in the development and implementation of the overall e-commerce strategy.
Execute online sales and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Contribute to the optimization of pricing strategies, product listings, and promotions.
Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with marketing teams on digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).

3. Online Store Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform(s).
Ensure website content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.
Monitor website performance, user experience, and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the tech team for website updates, maintenance, and new feature implementations.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure product availability and efficient order fulfillment.
Oversee payment processing and ensure secure online transactions.

4. Customer Service and Experience

Ensure the team provides excellent online customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Help establish and maintain a robust online customer service and feedback mechanism.
Monitor customer feedback and identify trends to improve the online shopping experience.

5. Reporting and Analysis

Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
Present reports and findings to the Managing Director and other stakeholders.

Utilize data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.

6. Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations.
Maintain clear and consistent communication within the e-commerce team and with other departments.
Work with third-party vendors and partners to enhance e-commerce operations.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business disciplines, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related field. Prior Experience in e-commerce, especially with electronic devices, will be an added advantage.
Candidates with prior experience in e-commerce platforms like Daraz will be prioritized.
Advanced Proficiency in Google Analytics or other Analysis Tools and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and buyer decision-making. An ability to analyze customer behavior and build strategies based on findings.
Basic knowledge of app's implementation.
Ability to function and prioritize effectively during peak periods such as festivals.
Must possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal, and ethical conduct skills
