The Brand Manager shall be responsible for developing the overall brand strategy and planning including promotional strategy, digital and content strategy to achieve targets on equity and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and develop consumer behavior and identify insights and trends with respect to the brand. Translate the key findings to formulate strategies and implement the same
- Develop and implement brand promotional activities across various touch points
- Develop and deliver distinctive communication strategy in line with the overall brand strategy and positioning
- Constantly monitor competitor's brand activities and pricing, share the inputs for maintaining a competitive advantage
- Identify and benchmark best practices in communication strategies
- Leverage digital media initiatives to further strengthen the brand activation
- Develop and source/ replicate merchandising material and promotional material
- Deep understanding on media, with regard to planning and buying
- Identify and deploy best practices for improved promotional activities
- Understanding of printing and POS material development
- Plan product design development, packaging etc through consumer insights derived from market research, competitive mapping and other market intelligence
- Manage the development of brand’s approach to promotional testing, learning, and optimization
- Effective and optimum utilization of brand budgets
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or similar discipline preferred with 7 of experience or MBA with 5 years of experience in brand, marketing or similar function in liquor, beverage or FMCG
- Experience working with external creative and media agencies
- Must be a team player, collaborative, proactive and flexible
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that all delivered assets conform to brand and company standards
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work across departments
- Self-directed, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a professional and confident manner under tight deadlines
- Extensive experience in leading structured and rigorous approach to identifying key targets, developing objectives, strategies, tactics, measurement and optimization
- Strong understanding of business and marketing measures and optimization
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
