Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial activities, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate recording.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and collections.
Monitor and report on financial discrepancies by conducting detailed account analysis.
Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of bookkeeping with overall financial management.

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Part Qualified ACCA with extensive experience in a UK practice environment. (Preferably skills paper completed)
Strong academic background with knowledge in Statutory Accounts & Tax preparation.
Experience in accountancy software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Free Agent, Sage, VT Transaction & MS Office.
Have great attention to detail with commercial awareness.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working to deadlines.
Positive, Open-Minded, and Eager to Learn and Grow.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Must have minimum of 1 year experience of bookkeeping in UK based outsourcing company.
