Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Bio-medical Engineer to provide expertise in procuring, managing, and maintaining our medical equipment and technology at least twice a week in January – December 2024. The Engineer will collaborate with our healthcare team to assess current equipment, propose upgrades, and contribute to improving our healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments of existing medical equipment and technology
  • Providing recommendations for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of biomedical equipment
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff and vendors for equipment implementation
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards
  • Advising on training programs for healthcare staff on equipment usage
  • Offering technical guidance on biomedical matters
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and advancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Relevant certifications in biomedical engineering
  • One year of experience in biomedical consulting
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals
