About the job

About the Role:

This Associate Project Manager role will fill the role of full-time Scrum Master responsibilities in support of more senior Project and Program Management staff. You will have the opportunity to work on information technology projects within the US healthcare payer industry building powerful skills, knowledge, and experience for your career at the intersection of IT and healthcare. You will have the opportunity to gain this experience on projects where cutting edge cloud-based technologies are being deployed and within a dynamic and fast growing company.

You Will:

Lead scrum teams as the scrum master for client delivery projects.
Train team members on Agile practices and the Abacus implementation of such practices.
Ensure compliance and KPI reporting on success of project / Agile practices employed.
Provide other support duties as needed to more senior project / program management staff.

What We're Looking For:

Proficient and experienced in Agile software development practices – 3+years
Certified Scrum Master credential
Software development technology background in work experience and / or training
Extremely good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong soft skills for intra-team relationship building.
Willing to time shift workdays if necessary to properly support US based clients. This will be less likely in the initial role but more important for a growing career path in the position.

Bonus Points:

US Healthcare experience with healthcare payer experience a bonus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification
