  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in peace building and conflict transformation;
  • Experience in developing concept notes, proposals, conducting research and preparing reports in peace building and conflict transformation
  • Fluent in Nepali and English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in computer use i.e. Microsoft word, excel, power point, email/internet etc.
  • Candidate must have motorbike driving skills along with license
  • Candidate must take initiative, be able to set priorities on work schedule and follow up on tasks
  • He / she must be a strong team player and have the ability to choose the best working method for assigned tasks in consultation with superiors and the team

Job Description

Duration: Initially November 1 to December 2015 with possibility of extension

The Associate Local Professional is responsible to report to Local Professionals, who will assign duties as appropriate, under the overall supervision of the Sr. Local professional/Executive Director. The employee serves as the Associate Local Professional of Pro Public with the responsibility for planning and executing of functions of Pro Public under its Civil Peace Service Program.
