Main responsibility areas

Data Collection and Management:

  • Data Acquisition: Collect data from various sources such as network logs, customer databases, billing systems, and CRM tools.
  • Data Cleaning: Ensure data accuracy by identifying and rectifying errors, inconsistencies, and missing values.
  • Data Integration: Combine data from different sources to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.

Data Analysis:

  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Perform initial investigations on data to discover patterns, anomalies, and relationships.
  • Descriptive Analysis: Summarize historical data to understand what has happened in the past.
  • Predictive Analysis: Use statistical models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and behaviors.
  • Prescriptive Analysis: Provide actionable recommendations based on predictive insights.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Report Generation: Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate findings to management and other departments.
  • Data Visualization: Create visual representations of data, such as charts and graphs, to facilitate understanding and decision-making.

Business Intelligence:

  • KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and operations.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Segmentation: Identify and segment customers based on behaviors, preferences, and demographics for targeted marketing and personalized services.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Network Performance: Monitor and analyze network performance data to identify issues, optimize resource allocation, and enhance service quality.
  • Churn Analysis: Analyze customer data to predict and reduce churn by identifying at-risk customers and recommending retention strategies.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Strategic Planning:

  • Demand Forecasting: Predict future demand for telecom services to assist in capacity planning and infrastructure investment.
  • Revenue Optimization: Analyze pricing strategies and revenue streams to maximize profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, marketing teams, network engineers, and IT departments to understand data needs and provide insights.
  • Technical Documentation: Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on data tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in management / professional degree 

Profile

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills in identifying trends and sales patterns
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools
  • Problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong communications skills with proficiency in both reading and writing 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various functional units.
  • Encourages teamwork and bonding within and outside team without compromising delivery of exceptional result
  • Advanced excel and PPT skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities 
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Tries to review linkages beyond own work area
  • Seeks to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support
  • Adapts rules or recommends alteration in normal procedures to get a job done well
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses, and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance

Duty Station

Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements.
