Restless Development strives to enhance the rights and status of women and girls through addressing issues such as sexual and gender based violence (SGBV), school retention, menstrual health management and child, early and forced marriage. 

Restless Development Nepal has been implementing the programmes to end GBV and harmful social norms since a decade. For the prevention of GBV cases, we have been capacitating the young people as ‘young leaders’ and they have been rigorously engaging with their peers and the community people including teachers, community leaders, police, religious leaders and many more. We empower the women and girls to have a voice on the issues that concern them and their communities. Recognizing the relationship between poverty and sexual health for women in particular, our work focuses on economic empowerment of women and girls.

Job Description

Assistant Programme Coordinator (APC) position based in Kathmandu with extensive field travel. This position will report to Programme Coordinator and will manage Programme officers and Interns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in developing and delivery of the training package related to evidence based advocacy, local planning process and result based management  
  • Take lead role on training facilitation and capacity building of stakeholders in district and national level
  • Develop periodic programme report
  • Lead the ‘Big Idea’ concept implementation
  • Work in close coordination with Programme Coordinator
