Key Responsibilities

Process Management

• Perform periodic review of operational policy, process and procedures on the basis of functional/ audit/regulatory requirement and report gap/improvement opportunities, if any;
• Manage Process Improvement Projects on Risk Control Initiatives and create/update process adherence checklist to review process execution controls;
• Review Process/ Transactions from Control/ Risk/ Quality certification guidelines, as applicable;
• Prepare and report all process/control/risk related gaps to Head of Operations and track the same to closure with Operations;
• Perform periodic risk quality certification audit for all business processes and validate the business Impact Analysis conducted by the operations;
• Monitor open internal audit/compliance issue and ensure their timely closer;
• Strategic Deployment of ERSA guidelines and FLOD (First Line of Defence) Toolkit and assistance in change management leading to process changes due to FLOD toolkit Implementation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in insurance business
• The candidate should possess Master’s Degree such as MBA/MBS or equivalent, or be a qualified chartered accountant
• Any insurance certifications or exposure to Six Sigma, basic or advanced data analysis and reporting will be an added advantage

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Good communication skill to ensure cultural awareness within the organization for Risk Management Framework Deployment;
• Expertise in MS Excel, MS Outlook/Email, MS PPT, MS Word, Excel Based Automation/VBA and exposure to MS Project and Visio.
