Job Description

  • To provide leadership and direction to the accounts & finance department
  • To ensure timely preparation of monthly/ quarterly/annual financial statements portraying true and correct picture of the company
  • To manage risk and supervise cash management and receivables management.
  • To monitor daily transactions relating to accounting and finance
  • To develop a financial strategy and investigate ways to improve profitability
  • To prepare cost sheets and do product costing
  • To coordinate auditing of financial statements
  • Liaison with blanks
  • To develop and manage financial systems/Policies
  • To oversee the company’s investment activities
  • To analyze the financial data and provide input to the Board as a financial advisor
  • Monitor day-to-day operation of accounts & Finance department.
  • Receive MIS reports from different departments and consolidate them
  • Create and maintain a calendar to inform all department heads of the deadline for submitting MIS reports
  • Monitor and ensure the compliance of all accounting standards or internal policies and relevant statutory acts and regulations
  • Help in the credit control unit to reconcile the accounts of debtors
