Job Description

Functional Objective:

This position is responsible for managing overall accounting and finance functions by supervising accounting, fund management, finalization of internal & statutory audit, budgeting and MIS. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare MIS reports including balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statement.
  • Responsible for the budgetary control in the company.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances, for e.g. - SSF/C.I.T/TDS deposit, VAT/Advance Tax payment etc.
  • Arrange LC and Bank Guarantee after assessing the stock position and requirement of sales department.
  • Monitoring control over cash and bank including periodic verification of cash.
  • Completion of Tax Audit and obtain Tax Clearance Certificate Completion of Compliance audit.
  • Maintain good relationships with banks & tax offices.
  • Monitoring and supervising subordinates for purposes of ensuring that their accounting and analysis duties are done well.
  • Streamline procurement of office supplies related to daily operation;
  • Pricing of all products
  • Liaison with custom agent for the custom clearance
  • Control and monitoring of fixed assets 
  • Oversee inventory planning and management
  • Oversee processing to Principal and follow up for the dispatch
  • Supervise, develop and motivate subordinates  

Secondary Responsibilties:

  • Prepare Agreements and various letters
  • Additional work assigned by immediate Manager/Management.

Competency Required:

  • Master with 3 years of experience or Bachelors with 5 years of experience 
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Asset Handling, Inventory Management
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop financial reports, statements, and financial projections
  • Decision making and managerial skills
  • Good Internal/External Communication 
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. 
  • Knowledge of statutory rules and regulations. 
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and  projections. 
  • Good leadership capability and excellent team management skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications like MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint; & Accounting software
