Duty Station: Koshi Province, Madhesh Pradesh, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province with frequent field visit.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary

The Field Staff is responsible for promoting the products and services of Muktinath Fertilizer Chemicals Ltd. at the grassroots level by maintaining direct contact with farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, agrovets, and local stakeholders. The position plays a vital role in creating product demand, increasing farmer awareness, supporting field demonstrations, collecting market intelligence, and strengthening the company's presence in the assigned area.

The Field Staff acts as the direct link between the Company and farmers to ensure adoption of the Company & fertilizers, crop nutrition products, and agricultural technologies.

A. Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Farmer Outreach and Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with individual farmers, commercial farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, and local agricultural stakeholders.
Conduct regular field visits to understand farmers' needs, cropping patterns, and production challenges.
Promote the products and services of Muktinath Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd. among farmers and local communities.
Serve as the primary contact point between farmers and the Company.
Product Promotion and Demand Generation
Create awareness and demand for fertilizers, micronutrients, bio-products, and other nagricultural inputs produced and marketed by the Company.
Educate farmers on the benefits and proper use of Company products.
Encourage product trials and adoption through field-level interactions.
Support implementation of seasonal sales and marketing campaigns.
Identify potential customers and market opportunities within the assigned territory.

2. Demonstration and Extension Activities

Assist in establishing and monitoring demonstration plots and field trials.
Organize farmer meetings, training programs, field days, and product awareness campaigns.
Demonstrate recommended agricultural practices and proper product application techniques.
Support technical teams during extension and promotional activities.

3. Market Intelligence and Reporting

Collect information on crop conditions, farmer requirements, market trends, competitor products, and pricing.
Regularly report field observations and market feedback to supervisors.
Maintain records of farmer visits, meetings, demonstrations, and promotional activities.
Identify new business opportunities and potential market areas

4. Dealer and Cooperative Support

Coordinate with local dealers, agrovets, and cooperatives to strengthen product availability and market penetration.
Assist dealers and retailers in conducting farmer interaction programs.
Support sales promotion activities at dealer and retail outlets.

5. Customer Support

Receive and communicate farmers' feedback, complaints, and suggestions to the concerned department.
Follow up with farmers to ensure satisfaction and proper product utilization.
Assist farmers in obtaining technical guidance from Company experts when required.

6. Field Operations

Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop conditions and product performance.
Collect field data and prepare reports on sales activities, market feedback, and farmer adoption.
Coordinate with research, production, and supply chain teams regarding market requirements.
Support product launches and field validation activities

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum qualification in I.Sc. Agriculture (I.Sc. Ag) or Intermediate (+2) in Agriculture, Diploma in Agriculture, or equivalent qualification.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in agricultural extension, fertilizer marketing, agrovet operations, or farmer mobilization will be an added advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

Basic knowledge of agriculture, crop production, and fertilizer use.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work closely with farmers and rural communities.
Strong field mobility and willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to conduct farmer meetings and awareness programs.
Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Self-motivated and result-oriented.
Preference will be given to candidates who own a two-wheeler and possess a valid two- wheeler driving license.
