Position Overview

The Agri-Tech Coordinator will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and promoting Gham Power’s digital agriculture tools. This position involves close collaboration with the Agri-team at Gham Power to translate their ideas into user-friendly digital solutions, overseeing the product development process, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Communication and User Story Development
• Liaise with the Agri-team to gather requirements, understand their needs, and document detailed user stories.
• Convert these user stories into actionable tasks for the development team.
• Digital Marketing
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote these agricultural digital tools.
• Manage social media campaigns, create content, and engage with the online community to increase tool adoption.
• Coordination with the Developer Team
• Act as a bridge between the Agriculture team and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Regularly update both teams on progress, challenges, and feedback to ensure alignment.
• Product Development
• Design algorithms and workflow processes for new product features.
• Create detailed flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation to guide the development process.
• Test and validate new features to ensure they meet user needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product development, digital marketing, and team coordination.
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices and challenges in Nepal.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable tasks.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software development methodologies.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of software development processes and technologies.
• Familiarity with data analytics and algorithm design.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong writing skills for documentation and digital content creation.
• Project Management:
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Problem-Solving:

• Innovative thinking to design practical solutions for agricultural challenges.
• Ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions.

Working Condition

Work is performed in an office environment, where the person usually works independently, with occasional coordination with the marketing team, and other departments. Traveling out of the valley may be frequent as per requirement of the office and departments.

Duration of Work

This position is for 6 months with the possibility of extension and appraisal based upon the performance.
