Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a Business Development Officer who can drive growth for the TM Studio vertical by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with restaurant and hospitality brands, pitching tailored digital marketing solutions, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Development:

Identify and prospect restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, bakeries, bars, lounges, catering businesses, and packaged food brands.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through field visits, networking, referrals, cold outreach, LinkedIn, and industry events.
Maintain and update prospect and client information within CRM systems.

Client Acquisition & Sales:

Conduct discovery meetings to understand client objectives, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Present and sell TM Studio's services including photography, videography, social media management, SEO, paid advertising, content creation, and branding campaigns.
Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and service packages.
Negotiate contracts and successfully close new business opportunities.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Client Onboarding & Account Coordination:

Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients with clear project briefs and expectations.
Coordinate with creative, content, photography, videography, and digital marketing teams.
Serve as the initial point of contact during the onboarding phase.

Market Research & Strategic Insights:

Monitor emerging trends within Nepal's F&B industry.
Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
Recommend innovative marketing packages and growth strategies tailored for F&B businesses.
Share market intelligence and business insights with leadership.

Reporting & Performance Management:

Maintain weekly sales activity reports and pipeline updates.
Monitor proposal conversion rates and revenue performance.
Participate in sales reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Mass Communication, or a related field.
MBA or a relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, client servicing, or account management.
Previous experience in a digital marketing agency, creative studio, advertising agency, production house, or media company is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Existing network within Kathmandu Valley's restaurant, café, and hospitality industry
Experience working with F&B brands or restaurant marketing campaigns
Knowledge of food delivery platforms such as Foodmandu, Bhoj, and Pathao Food
Understanding of influencer marketing, food content trends, and social media branding
