Assistant General Manager - Human Resources

Work Location: CG Head Office, Sanepa, Lalitpur

Role Description

This role will be responsible for overseeing core HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, HR policies and process SOP, HR reports of several business division as well are some core specialized HR functions.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, contributing to the development and execution of HR initiatives that support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and optimize HR operations, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, payroll administration, benefits management, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters, providing guidance to management and employees to ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Implement and enhance performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and facilitating continuous improvement in individual and team performance.
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to provide insights, support recruitment efforts, and ensure a seamless candidate experience during the hiring process.
  • Contribute to workforce planning initiatives by analyzing trends, identifying talent gaps, and developing strategies to address current and future talent needs.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to generate meaningful insights, helping leadership make informed decisions and drive HR and business improvements.
  • Implement and support employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing overall employee satisfaction and morale.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee readiness during organizational changes or transformations.
  • Ensure HR practices and policies comply with relevant laws and regulations, conducting regular audits and providing guidance on adherence.
  • Partner with the L&D team to identify training needs, coordinate development programs, and support the overall learning and skill enhancement initiatives for employees.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations and support the broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Extensive experience in Human Resources (HR) management with at least 10+ years in managerial role
  • Expertise in employee relations and handling sensitive employee issues
  • Thorough understanding of labor and employment law
  • Experience in performance management and talent development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management to drive business goals
  • Experience in a multinational company is preferred
  • Master's degree in HR management or related field is required
