National Campaign for Education Nepal, a national level coalition of more than 490 national and grassroots level organizations, is implementing: Civil Society Participation in Education (COPE) Project. It is funded by the European Commission (through a consortium led by National Campaign for Education Nepal and partners includes Global Action Nepal (GAN) and Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA). The main objective of this project is to unite various stakeholders in addressing issues related to accountability and governance within the education sector. The project is to be implemented in Dhanusha, Siraha and Rautahat districts of Madesh province and Dailekh, Kalikot, Surkhet districts of Karnali province.

Job Location: Kathmandu 

Job Overview:

The position will be responsible for planning, designing and executing advocacy related programs with frequently mobility out of valley too.  The other skills and qualification required for the position will be as follows

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ of working experience in advocacy related works, documentation, communication 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Social Science, or Development Studies

Key Requirements/ Responsibilities:

  • Professional and academic writing skills in English & Nepali
  • Designing, planning, documenting and implementing advocacy and campaigns related interventions
  • Develop program concept note, proposal and preparing press release 
  • Enhance Media communication, dissemination, sharing and networking
  • Ensure the collection, sharing and disseminating of the project experiences, learning and good practices 
  • Identify key opportunities in the short and long-term in which the organization can influence in the education policy processes. 
  • Support to team members for any additional reporting and , documentation 
  • Good interpersonal skills and vocal to deal with the colleagues in the organization and audiences/stakeholders
  • Capability and willing to work under the pressures and deadlines
