Supported by a Government of India grant, and following the approach of Owner Driven Reconstruction (ODRC), UNDP has partnered with the ODR Collective (ODRC), a network of India-based institutions, including SEEDS Technical Services (STS), Hunnarshala Foundation, UNNATI – Organization for Development Education, and Centre for Eco centric Development and Peoples’ Action (CEDAP) to work in 6 Gaupalikas and 2 Nagarpalikas, covering 26,912 houses. STS functions as ODRC secretariat with the executive director of STS as current convener of ODRC.

The project aims to provide socio-technical facilitation services through enhancement of homeowners’ awareness, ensuring adequate skill building of artisans, enabling house owners to incorporate disaster resistant features in their houses and comply with the government norms.

Job Description

  • Maintaining office equipment, inventory supplies
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining financial records and other records
  • Maintaining the different office formats for the different purpose as prescribed
  • Procurement of goods and services following STS procurement policy and guidelines
  • Sourcing vendors
  • Maintaining the petty cash statement on daily basis and submitting to KTM office reflecting the closing cash balance of the day
  • Forwarding advance cash to the field staff for program activities
  • Collecting bills and vouchers from the filed on a regular basis and setting the advances
  • Closely follow the budget details
  • Preparing the estimate of all programs for approval
  • Keeping all the office equipment and internet in working order
  • Monitoring the security of the office
  • Organizing meetings, workshops and conferences
  • Over all office management
  • Two wheeler maintenance and fuel reimbursement
  • Work closely with HR & Logistic officer
  • Back stopping HR & Logistic officer during the absence
  • HR & Logistic officer will back stop Admin & Finance officer during the absence.
  • Any other task being assigned
