Job Specification

Required Qualification 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with at least 1 years experience in similar position, preferably in NGO/INGO

Desired Skills

  • Able to produce documents in Nepali language as well as strong Nepali typing skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Financial Management Software preferably FINMAN
  • Able to multi-task and take responsibilities independently
  • Valid driving license with vehicle (two wheeler) 


Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative:

  • Assist the Finance & Admin. Officer in smooth operation of day to day office activities
  • Assist in soliciting quotations, preparing comparative chart and procuring office supplies and fixed assets
  • Ensure update and maintenance of staff attendance record
  • Ensure timely deposit of Salary, PF and Gratuity
  • Ensure the timely payment and maintenance of office utilities 
  • Assist in proper inventory management and record keeping of fixed assets & preparation of reports
  • Assist in logistic arrangement of field visits, flight reservation, hotel and vehicle arrangement 
  • Supervise the work of Office Assistant and Security Guards
  • Assist in filling system and manage filing the official documents for both hard and electronic copies
  • Ensure the timely dispatch and receive letters, parcels etc to and from external parties & post office

Finance: 

  • Assist in carrying out all operations required for authorizing expenditures and ensuring the most rational use of the funds. This includes making calculations, checking supporting documents and making payments
  • Maintain appropriate filing system of financial document and project financial related documents including photocopy and scan for Head Office
  • Assist in dealing with the Auditors for Statutory Audit and Donor Audit
  • Ensure deduction of TDS, safe keeping of the all Tax and related documents and filing of E-Returns 
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all financial transactions 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Finance and Admin Officer
