Accounts Officer – Rider Payments & Reconciliation

The Accounts Officer – Rider Payments & Reconciliation is responsible for managing and controlling all rider-related financial transactions across LoopX’s operating models (Daily Wages Rider and Free Rider – Weekly Rental).

This role ensures accurate accounting, timely collections, proper reconciliation, and financial reporting, contributing to overall financial control and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts & Collections Management

• Monitor daily and weekly rider receivables and payment obligations

• Ensure timely collection and recording of rider payments

• Follow up on outstanding dues and maintain aging reports

• Coordinate with operations for payment recovery and resolution

2. Financial Recording & Data Management

• Maintain accurate records of all rider transactions in designated systems (e.g., Google Sheets)

• Ensure all entries are complete, verified, and audit-ready

• Update and manage the Weekly Payment Tracker with high accuracy

3. Reconciliation & Verification

• Perform daily reconciliation of collected payments against expected receivables

• Verify digital transactions (e.g., Fonepay) with internal records

• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution

4. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily collection and reconciliation reports for the Accounts team

• Generate monthly financial summaries and collection reports

• Maintain proper documentation for audit and internal review

• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and processes

5. Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Rider Operations to validate rider activity and dues

• Coordinate with the Accounts team for financial closing and reporting

• Escalate inconsistencies, delays, or financial risks proactively

6. Stakeholder Communication

• Address rider queries related to payments in a clear and professional manner

• Support communication for payment reminders and follow-ups
