Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Executive – Finance and Accounts to support daily accounting operations, accounts receivable management, billing, and merchant coordination. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy in financial records, and effective communication with internal teams and external merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular follow-ups with merchants/clients for outstanding receivables through calls, emails, and meetings.
Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable aging reports.
Track overdue balances and ensure timely collections within approved credit terms.
Prioritize collection efforts based on aging, merchant category, and outstanding balances.
Handle merchant collections, payments, and sales billing processes.
Prepare and issue tax invoices via email and arrange printed copies when required.
Provide transaction details and reports to merchants upon request.
Address and resolve merchant queries related to payments, settlements, and discrepancies.
Perform merchant ledger reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
Assist in bank reconciliation, cash handling, and financial reporting tasks.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
1 year of relevant experience in finance/accounts (freshers with strong knowledge may be considered).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and receivable processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
Knowledge of VAT, TDS, and tax invoice processes in Nepal.
Experience in merchant/client handling is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
