Roles and responsibilities of this job

Bhugarbha Cement Ltd., a growing cement manufacturing company, is seeking a competent and experienced professional to join our team as Accounts Head.

Department: Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the overall Finance & Accounts function of the company.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely VAT, TDS, Excise, Tax, and other statutory filings and compliance.
Monitor accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, cash flow, and general ledger.
Review journal vouchers, purchase invoices, sales transactions, and supporting documents.
Manage budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
Ensure proper accounting records, internal controls, and documentation.
Monitor factory and corporate office accounting activities.
Provide accurate financial information and analysis to senior management.
Supervise, guide, and evaluate the Accounts & Finance team.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
Perform other finance-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
CA/ACCA/CA Final or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation, VAT, TDS, Excise, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, reporting, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
