Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage VAT and taxation compliance for our organization. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Nepal’s VAT regulations, tax filing procedures, and statutory requirements to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle VAT computation, return preparation, and timely filing as per Nepal government regulations.
Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances, including TDS and income tax.
Prepare and maintain accurate tax records, invoices, and supporting documents.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor changes in tax laws and update internal practices accordingly.
Provide tax-related support to management for decision-making.
Ensure timely payments of all applicable taxes and statutory dues.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in VAT, tax compliance, and related accounting functions.
Strong knowledge of Nepal’s tax and VAT regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
