Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in office and field activities. The candidate should be proactive, reliable, and detail-focused, ensuring smooth operations of all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily accounting records and entries using Tally software
Handle vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments
Assist with bank transactions, cash handling, and reconciliations
Maintain expense records and manage supplier payments
Support the preparation of basic financial reports
Coordinate with office staff for billing and payment follow-ups
Visit banks, government offices, or vendors when required
Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree completed or running (Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field preferred)
Proficient in Tally software and basic accounting principles
Must own a 2-wheeler with a valid driving license
Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Email
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Flexible and willing to handle field work when needed
