Must be fast learner and grasp the hotel requirement without much briefing/ direction
Must be a self-starter
Must be proficient in planning, organizing and executing tasks and projects
Must be proficient in communication and coordination.
Must have a good interpersonal skill and pleasant personality.
Must be a team player

Qualification

Minimum BCom/ BBS (additional professional qualification like CA, ACCA will be added advantage)
Must have minimum 5 years of proven continuous service in leading accounts and finance department of 3-5 star hotel. (setting up complete accounting and financial controls system from scratch will be favorable)
Must have a good knowledge of IDS hotel software and Tally accounting software
Must have good knowledge of MS Excel with sufficient analytical mind

To establish and set up effective accounting and financial reporting system for a hotel
To implement good internal control system, establish key control points and schedule monitoring for control assurance
To manage the entire accounts and finance department of hotel
To generate Key Performance Indicators and Key Financial Indicators to the management
To handle/ manage payroll, inventory, tax audit, internal audit and credit control amongst other regular accounting and financial requirement
To forecast the financial requirement of a hotel with analysis and assessment of the financial strength and weakness of a hotel
Preparing balance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement, cost center analysis, break even analysis, IRR and ROI analysis
Suggesting improvement or highlighting the bugs to the software developer
