Roles and responsibilities of this job

VS Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company specializing in design, construction, MEP, interiors, windows, infrastructure, and project management. As part of our organizational restructuring and growth strategy, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day books of accounts.
Record accounting transactions accurately and on time.
Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
Prepare payment schedules and follow up on collections.
Support VAT, tax, audit, and statutory compliance.
Maintain project-wise cost records and financial documentation.
Assist in monthly financial closing and MIS reporting.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Support ERP implementation and accounting process improvements.
Assist in reconciliation and closure of legacy accounts during the company's restructuring phase.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, BBS, BBA, or equivalent.
Candidates pursuing CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or contracting companies will be an added advantage.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance in Nepal.
Experience with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ledger management.
Good understanding of financial reporting and month-end closing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
