Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the restaurant's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, a thorough understanding of VAT and Nepalese tax regulations, and experience in preparing financial reports. Candidates with prior experience in the hospitality industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and record daily expenses and cash flow.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate inventory reconciliation.
• Process vendor payments, payroll, and other payment requests.
• Perform banking transactions, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget utilization.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit tax-related documents as required by applicable laws.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Support the process of obtaining tax exemptions or refunds where applicable.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems.
