Roles and responsibilities of this job

Kara India Craft, a hand-crafted textiles for International customers, is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with a BBA Finance background. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling daily accounting activities, and supporting financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain day-to-day accounting records
Record vouchers, invoices, payments, and receipts
Handle cash, bank, and ledger entries

Financial Reporting

Preparing monthly and annual financial reports
Carrying out entries in books of accounts
Track expenses and income accurately

Taxation & Compliance

Assist with VAT, TDS, and other statutory filings
Ensure compliance with company and government regulations
Maintain proper documentation for audits

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for payments
Reconcile bank statements regularly

Coordination & Support

Coordinate with management for financial data and approvals
Provide timely reports and updates as required

Note: Interview Process

In-person interview at Ashok Steels Office, Teku, Kathmandu
Practical accounting and basic financial knowledge will be evaluated

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Required Skills & Qualifications

BBA in Finance or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role (freshers may also apply)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and work responsibly with minimal supervision
