Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies (BBS), Business Administration (BBA), or a related field with a specialization in Accounting or Finance. (A Master's degree is a plus.)
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven work experience in a similar accounting role.
Software Skills: Proficient in using accounting software (Tally and Navigator, highly preferred) and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nepal's accounting standards (NAS/NFRS) and current tax laws.

Job Description

Manage all day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
Prepare, maintain, and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Navigator, etc.).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Handle all matters related to taxation, including VAT, TDS, and timely filing of returns as per Nepal's tax regulations.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage bank correspondence.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
