Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Restaurant Accountant to join our dedicated team. As a Restaurant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will encompass managing the financial records, optimizing cost controls, and enhancing our overall financial health.

Roles and responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support management in decision-making processes.
Review and verify employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and processing reimbursements.
Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for future reference and auditing purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax codes.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
