Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records of all the departments, analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Support in the development of project accounting and reporting procedures.
• Support monthly and quarterly close procedures and support the preparation of the annual financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, reconcile cash & cards transactions and travel costs.
• Identify accounting needs for local tax flings.
• Create documentation for accounting entries and perform controls.
• Give accounting advice and best practice to colleagues from other departments.
• Develop, implement and document new processes.
• Support the introduction of smart IT solutions for accounting.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field, or a similar qualification.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification would be a plus.
• Analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Experience in high growth / start up environment would be an advantage.
• Interested in process optimization, automation, digitization and big data analytics.
• Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and competency in Accounting software (ERP software).
• Fluent in English language essential.
