  • ACCA/ CA/ CPA/ MBA qualified/semi-qualified accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in practice.
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems, tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small and medium-sized business
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment and work effectively to meet deadlines and time-scales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues

Desirable Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
  • Experience of working with companies in UK 
  • Experience with cloud based accounting software

Job Description

  • Preparing statutory annual accounts, management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, trusts etc
  • Preparing tax computations and filing returns, including corporation tax and personal tax returns 
  • Planning and completing assignments to a high standard of technical competence and within deadlines
  • Assisting the portfolio manager & partner to achieve deadlines
  • Regularly dealing with clients in the UK to achieve efficiency through effective communication
  • To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
  • Maintaining technical competence
