Job Description

  • Must be able to establish and set up effective accounting and financial reporting system for a hotel
  • Must be able to implement good internal control system, establish key control points and schedule monitoring for control assurance
  • Must be able to manage the entire accounts and finance department of hotel
  • Must be able to generate Key Performance Indicators and Key Financial Indicators to the management
  • Must have a practical knowledge of Tax, VAT  and Labor laws of Nepal
  • Must be capable to handle/ manage payroll, inventory, tax audit, internal audit and credit control amongst other regular accounting and financial requirement
  • Must have good knowledge of bank finances available from local banks and be capable of dealing with Local Branch Manager of the Bank
  • Must be capable to forecast the financial requirement of a hotel with analysis and assessment of the financial strength and weakness of a hotel
  • Must be capable of preparing the periodic Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and Income Statement
  • Preparation of Board Minute and Legal Documents
  • Command over Nepali Typing is recommended
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

The primary job station of the candidate will be at Hotel Alice, Simikot Humla. 

Salary & Benefits:

Salary & Allowance: Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 28,000 (negotiable based on qualification and experience). PF, Gratuity & Other statutory benefits will be provided as per Labor Law. Accomodation and foods will be provided during the stay in Simikot.
