Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated Account Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree who are eager to build their careers in accounting and finance. The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial record-keeping, payment processing, and reporting activities while gaining practical experience in a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Prepare, verify, and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, receipts, and other supporting documents.
Issue official receipts for payments received and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor vendor invoices, payment due dates, and outstanding liabilities.
Prepare payment schedules and process vendor payments after obtaining the required approvals.
Follow up with clients and relevant parties regarding receivables and overdue payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of cash transactions, bank transactions, expenses, and other financial activities.
Assist in preparing monthly and periodic financial reports, including cash and bank summaries, expense statements, and accounts receivable and payable reports.
Support the preparation and maintenance of VAT, TDS, and other tax-related documents and filings.
Ensure proper filing, organization, and safekeeping of financial documents and records.
Coordinate with internal departments, clients, suppliers, banks, and auditors regarding accounting-related matters.
Assist senior accounting staff with month-end closing and other financial activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (completed or currently pursuing).
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial transactions, and bookkeeping.
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting software is an advantage.
Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.
