  • Ability to work in a result-oriented multi-tasking and multi-cultural environment and manage conflicting priorities.

Job Description

Purpose of the job

CREASION is looking for a dynamic person to join the team as a Youth Engagement Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE YOUTH ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

  • Program Development: Development of a strategy for the ‘Volunteer For Change’ program including concept note writing, presentations, and expressions of interest to a wide range of private, institutional, and bilateral donors. 
  • Event Management: Act as lead in carrying out the key calendar year activities of the ‘Volunteer For Change’ program by engaging a large group of volunteers and youths in the design, planning, and implementation of activities.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Coordinate and communicate the needs of the volunteer groups, strengthen their clubs, and expand to other regions. Take the active lead in outreach to different colleges for volunteer recruitment, and conducting different workshops and training programs.
  • Reporting: Documentation of activities and campaigns through meetings, reports, and blogs. 
  • Media Management: 

  1. Strengthen online presence by regularly updating content on all the social media platforms, and analyzing engagement data. 
  2. Web management and developing content for the program website.
  3. Design and develop different communication materials and merchandise. 
  4. Liaise with different media houses and maintain a database of media personnel. 

  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: To create strategic alignment across departments for the achievement of shared goals and objectives.
