Position: Youth Empowerment Trainer
Location: Nishankhe, Okhaldhunga, Nepal
Tenure: 2 years (Extendable)
Salary: Rs. 40,000 to 55,000 (Negotiable), including facilities

ViN seeks a dedicated Youth Empowerment Trainer to join our team in Nishankhe, Okhaldhuga! In this exciting role, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young people aged 16-30. You’ll design and deliver life skills training programs, organise engaging workshops, and mentor participants on their personal and professional success journey.

Here’s what you'll do:

Design and deliver impactful life skills training programs focusing on communication, problem-solving, leadership, and critical thinking.
Organise interactive workshops and activities that foster personal development and career readiness.
Provide ongoing support and mentorship to young participants, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for them to thrive.
Develop and deliver engaging English language classes, empowering youth to connect with the global community.
Collaborate with international volunteers to create a diverse and enriching learning experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree Preferred) in Humanities, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Has 2-3 years of experience working with youth in educational, community development, or youth development settings.
Possesses expertise in designing and delivering engaging training programs.
Has strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Can build rapport and trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Boasts excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
Demonstrates a proven ability to mentor and provide individual support.
Is brimming with creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging activities and workshops.
Is fluent in the local language and English (an advantage).
