Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nepali language Writer/Reporter. You will conduct research, analyze data, conduct interviews, and produce works on news and stories covering business, particularly MSMEs, finance, and economy.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, economics, finance, or business field.
• Prior one year experience in writing, journalism, or reporting is highly desirable.
• Strong Nepali language writing skills with an excellent command of Nepali grammar, vocabulary, and style conventions
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging articles, reports, features, and stories.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough research to gather accurate information and verify facts.
• Ability to conduct effective interviews with sources to gather information, quotes, and insights for articles or stories.
• Ability to critically evaluate information, identify newsworthy stories, and offer unique perspectives or angles.
• Understanding of journalistic ethics, including principles of accuracy, fairness, impartiality, and integrity.
