On behalf of the World Bank in Nepal, Mero Job Limited, invites applications from Nepali candidates belonging to marginalized communities including gender and sexual minorities, and persons with disabilities.
The program will recruit three trainees for a six-month traineeship with on-the-job training assignments with access to mentoring and practical experiences in an international working environment. Opportunities for prospective trainees are available in different departments of the World Bank.
Responsibilities:
Each trainee will be paired with a supervisor and will support a broad range of administrative and other tasks. A specific scope of work for each trainee will be identified in consultation with each supervisor. The range of tasks can include the following:

A stipend, including the Social Security Fund contributions, as per the prevailing Labor Act of Nepal, will be provided to successful candidates during the traineeship period. Trainees will be contracted by Mero Job Limited (contracted company by the World Bank). Selected candidates are expected to join the organization on October 09, 2023.
This program is not a full-time employment and extension of contract is not expected.
Mero Job Limited do not charge fee at any stage of recruitment (application, interview, processing, training, or any other stage).
Candidates with close relatives working in the World Bank are not eligible to apply for this traineeship. Close relatives are Mother, Father, Sister, half-sister, Brother, Half-brother, Son, Daughter, Aunt, Uncle, Niece, and Nephew.
