Roles and responsibilities of this job

Vijay Motors is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Workshop Supervisor / Service Advisor to oversee the service operations, manage the technical team, ensure customer satisfaction, and support aftersales marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an automobile background, excellent technical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the workshop to ensure efficient service operations.
Diagnose technical issues and provide accurate service advice to customers.
Manage and motivate a team of mechanics and support staff.
Ensure proper use of the company’s standard software system, generate reports, and maintain necessary documentation.
Maintain excellent customer relations by providing professional and timely service support.
Handle administrative tasks related to the workshop and service operations.
Promote and market aftersales services, body and general (BG), GP coating, and car detailing products.
Assist in developing and setting up dealerships across Nepal for service and product distribution.
Monitor workload distribution, workshop productivity, and ensure quality of service.
Ensure compliance with company standards, health, and safety policies.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Preference will be given to the person having Automobile Background, eg. Automobile Engineer or Diploma holder.
Willing to learn and capable of working with in a team and independently with a demanding workload.
Good organizational skills, with initiative and good judgment.
Strong diagnostic and technical skills
Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Pro-active, hands-on, and interpersonal with good communication skills.
Good command in both English and Nepali (Written and spoken) and able to correspond independently, and compile reports etc.
Able to manage a team of mechanics and perform other administrative work.
Literacy in Computer.
Go-getter, extrovert, energetic, with self-initiative.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
Multi-tasker.
To monitor the proper use of the company's standard software system and to ensure that reports are printed and filed as required.
Required to do marketing of aftersales services and BG, GP coat and Car detailing products and services and set up dealerships across Nepal.
Must have his/her own transportation.
