Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in WordPress theme and/or plugin development.
Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Familiarity with cPanel, Cloudflare, or hosting management tools is a plus
Familiarity with ACF, Elementor, WP-CLI, or automation workflows is a plus
Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and version control (Git) is a plus.
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred — ability to motivate and guide technical team members effectively.
Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Job Description

The WordPress Website Maintenance Lead will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of our WordPress-based websites. In this leadership position, you will guide a team of WordPress website maintenance group, collaborate closely with developers, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all web assets.

This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and project management, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, optimizing systems, and mentoring a growing technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Mentor the Team: Supervise and support a team of WordPress website maintenance, providing guidance, feedback, and technical mentorship.
Operational Oversight: Manage daily maintenance activities — including task assignment, workload balancing, and performance evaluation.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, and content teams to coordinate updates, feature rollouts, and website improvements.
Quality & Security: Establish and enforce best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance processes to maintain site reliability, security, and speed.
Performance Monitoring: Track website uptime, load speed, and analytics data to identify optimization opportunities and proactively resolve performance issues.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular status reports and communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional team leads.
Maintenance & Testing: Perform updates to themes, plugins, and content; test forms and other site functions; conduct browser/device compatibility checks.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to improve user experience, site efficiency, and workflow automation.
